Where the Wind Leads

A red kite rises.
Not by its own strength —
carried by a wind it did not choose.

Higher with every gust.
Trusting the invisible.
Not striving. Not forcing.
Simply yielding to the wind
that moves where it will.
Those who wait will rise on wings.

Those who surrender will soar
higher, and higher still.
The kite does not ask where the wind is going.
It simply opens, lifts, and follows.
